    About the

    Postal Innovation Platform (PIP)

PIP's mission is to drive innovation in the postal, express and logistics ecosystem and to bring together postal and logistics companies, academic institutions, innovators and other stakeholders to shape the future of the sector.

We are an open platform and forum that drives innovation in the postal, express and logistics ecosystem with the objective to contribute to the success of the postal industry in a rapidly changing market environment which creates new needs and demands. With an industry and stakeholder driven approach we guarantee that the right and necessary themes are discussed and analyzed.

PIP organizes innovative initiatives, startup events, think tank activities, conferences and workshops and manages a platform which is unique in the postal world. It helps to ease the implementation of new and innovative business solutions in the postal and logistics sector. Our invitation-only roundtables allow posts and logistics companies to share experiences and know-how in new business areas and to jointly advance innovative solutions.

Join our conferences, workshops, webinars, trainings and other events in which we discuss and exchange on latest trends, innovation and new technologies.

Not all companies that claim to be "innovative" are following robust processes.

If a company doesn’t innovate it doesn't mean standing still, it means falling behind. So, there is no alternative. However, just launching some innovation or startup activities or putting in place a team to take care of innovation is not the right approach. It would probably be better to save the resources for other tasks. The big challenge is to implement an innovation architecture that can produce valuable results and thus has an impact on the company.

A serious innovation and startup architecture that can make an impact and helps the organisation to better respond to operational needs or market demands is a huge challenge. If you don't want to fail you need to be ready to put enough resources into this project and to fully commit.
